History<\/h2>\n

CELEY - CHEMIE, established in 1987 as CELEY - CHEMIE Vertriebs GmbH was a merger of the owners one - man business founded in 1979 and 1984. Main activity was the marketing of chemical products in various industries, especially of Metal - Carboxylates and Metal - Salts for the paint, coatings and ink industry.<\/p>\n

1997 the GmbH has been transformed into a private cooperation traded under the name of CELEY - CHEMIE Vertriebs oHG. At the same time the activities of CELEY - CHEMIE were focused on the technical and commercial marketing of raw materials for the paint, coatings, ink, UP and PU industry.<\/p>\n

During 2002 the headquarter moved from Berlin to Mahlow, in the country of Brandenburg, about 2 kilometers south of Berlin. At the same time an own warehousing mainly for Metal-Carboxylates was established.<\/p>\n

In early 2008, the leased warehouse space was relocated from Hamburg to Duisburg for strategic reasons. This was due to the collaboration with USMB\u2019s new partner; from a logistical point of view, Duisburg was the more suitable location<\/p>\n

In 2010 the CELEY - CHEMIE Vertriebs oHG has been renamed as CELEY - CHEMIE Vertriebs GmbH & Co. KG, by a legal transformation and with participation of CELEY - CHEMIE Beteiligungs GmbH as managing and personally liable partner.<\/p>\n

In April 2012, the company\u2019s headquarters were relocated within the industrial estate in Mahlow; the street name remained the same, only the house number has changed.<\/p>\n

In 2016 we endeavored for an ISO Certificate 9001 : 2015, which we could finalize in November 2016 at T\u00dcV S\u00fcd (Germany). Since that time we have been able to successfully renew our certification several times without any complaints.<\/p>\n

At the end of 2024 we moved our office within Mahlow from the industrial area in the Luisen-Center near the train station. <\/p>\n

In the summer of 2025, our warehouse operator relocated our leased storage space for CELEY-CHEMIE from Duisburg to Bottrop, to modern warehouse facilities, where it is still located today. This gives us greater security for the dangerous goods we store and greater flexibility in our day-to-day operations.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Corporate structure<\/h2>\n

Since April 2008 CELEY - CHEMIE is the exclusive distribution partner of Umicore Specialty Materials Brugge NV (USMB), in the markets of Germany \/ Austria \/ Switzerland.<\/p>\n

The delivery program includes the following product groups:<\/p>\n

  • Alkyd Resins (Mainly Decorative Coatings)<\/li>\n
  • Metal-Carboxylates (Driers \/ Catalysts \/ Cross-Linker)<\/li>\n
  • Ecos product group (Cobalt Polymer)<\/li>\n
  • TOFA based Ester (VOC Reduction \/ Replacement of Mineral Oil Distillates)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Our customers will be supplied ex Umicore production plant in BE - Brugge and ex our warehouse, located in DE - Bottrop. This allows us just in time supplies for the product range in standard packings like drums, IBC's and bulk in road-tanker.<\/p>\n
